X-ray technology breakthrough are expected to make CT examination more convenient
Recently, reporters learned from university of science and technology of China, the school researcher Wu ZiYu lead a group has obtained significant breakthrough in X-ray phase line degrees imaging research field. The research results overcome obstacles of medical x-ray CT technology Application X-ray phase line degrees imaging methods, and laid the foundation for being faster, more sensitive and safer x-ray phase CT technology. This research result has been published in the last appeared International authoritative journal, proceedings of American academy of sciences and was known as the great breakthrough of x-ray technology imaging research in last 20 years.
It’s about 100 years from x-ray found, Conventional Radiography x-ray unit gain extensive application in medical clinical diagnosis, biology and safe detection etc numerous fields. However, the imaging technology is more sensitive on heavy element and can acquire clear images from objects, but get vague image from biological soft tissue and polymer materials which dominated by QingYuanSu. Compared with it, a new technology X-ray phase line degrees imaging which developed nearly ten years has obvious advantages, can get high-definition images for QingYuanSu constitute of biological tissue. But because imaging method is palaver, imaging time is too long and high radiation dose, it’s not suitable for biomedical imaging requirements and difficult to combine with medical x-ray CT technology.
The research team leaded by Wu ZiYu raises a solution to overcome this problem by using principle of X-ray positive and negative incident absorb the same incident and refraction angle instead. The new method has characteristics of simple and convenient, faster, low radiation dose, so it can combine with medical x-ray CT technology to be X-ray phase CT new technology which is simple operation and low radiation dose.
